The Capital City Beer Festival in Ottawa has been cancelled. The site for the Toronto Festival of Beer had this to say as an expanation:"...as a result of the challenges facing the brewing community as a whole, a market pressure felt by both Brewers and Event Management, we cannot produce both festivals to current standards. As the Capital City Beer Festival was conceived out of a love of beer and not profit, it is with great disappointment that we announce that the Ottawa festival will not be produced in 2005."
