Tsarina Katarina Imperial Stout has arrived!

At long last, Scotch Irish Brewing's Tsarina Katarina Imperial Stout is being delivered. (But only to those who pre-ordered a case earlier this summer.)
Only 150 cases (of 165 brewed) were available to the public.
Owner/brewer Perry Mason says he will keep 15 cases aside for future "vertical" tastings. So I would assume that he plans to make this an annual brew.

At 9%, the stout should keep well for many years. I plan to hide some away for future celebrations.

So, how does it taste??

Delicious! It has a viscous feel in the mouth and the typical malty, molasses-like nose that I personally so enjoy. Ideal for sipping by the fire on a cold afternoon!

If you are lucky enough to know someone who has it, do not turn down the opportunity for a taste, even if you have to beg!
