Labatts New Attack Ads
Labatt has recently begun a couple of new ad campaigns to replace their Bud Light Institute and Jonathan Bleue campaigns. The brewing giant has taken out full page attack ads aimed at competitor Minhas Creek Lager in major Manitoba Newspapers. These new ads scream that Minhas creek is pretending to be Canadian by adorning their labels with maple leafs when, in fact, its beer is brewed in Wisconsin. At least Minhas Creek is based in Canada unlike Labatt which is owned by Belgium's Interbrew.
