Lakeport Reports Record Breaking Sales Over Canada Day Weekend

HAMILTON, ON, July 6, 2005 - Lakeport Brewing Income Fund (TSX: TFR.UN) today announced that the company's "over-the-counter" beer sales at The Beer Store hit an all time record. For the week ending July 3, 2005 the company's sales hit a single week record of more than 167,000 cases of equivalent 24s purchased at Ontario beer stores. "Despite fierce competition in the marketplace, Lakeport's market share exceeded 9% of all sales at The Beer Store this past long weekend. We are thrilled that our customers are responding positively to our great beer at fair prices," said Teresa Cascioli, the company's Chair & CEO.
