The Hockley Valley Brewing Company is a small Ontario craft brewery located in Hockley Village, located in the Hockley Valley.
Their product, Hockley Dark, is marketed as a traditional English Ale. Very tasty, indeed!
They have the distinction of being the only Ontario micro-brewery to can its beer.
For the festive season, they have made their ale available in one-litre "growlers".
This is a very convenient size for the holidays. The bonus is that, if you should not finish a bottle (inconceivable, eh?), it is easily re-sealed with the built-in spring stopper.
It is for sale at selected LCBO stores for $9.95.
This one is being added (empty, of course) to my growing collection of growler bottles.
I love the concept!
